Frequently asked questions
Does everyone get the same puzzle?
Yes, per language: the puzzle is derived from the date, so everyone playing on the same day in the same language gets exactly the same grid with the same words. At midnight (local time) the next one appears.
What level is the daily word search?
Medium: a 10 by 10 grid with eight words, including diagonals. If you want easier, harder or extra large letters, you can choose that yourself on the regular word search page.
What happens to my streak if I skip a day?
Your current streak starts again from zero. Your best streak is always kept, so you never lose your record.
Where are my streak and times stored?
Only on this device, in your browser's local storage. No account is needed and no data is sent to a server. If you clear your browser data, your streak disappears too.
Does it still count if I use hints?
Yes. Hints are simply an aid; solving the puzzle still counts towards your streak. There is no penalty and no time pressure.
